Shipping Policy
Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy explains how Ridgeborne processes, ships, tracks, and delivers orders placed through the Ridgeborne website. By placing an order with Ridgeborne, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this Shipping Policy.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed after payment has been successfully authorized and order details have been received.
Order processing includes payment verification, order review, product preparation, packing, and handover to the shipping carrier or fulfillment service.
Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order volume, holidays, address verification, payment review, fraud prevention checks, weather events, carrier conditions, customs procedures, or other circumstances beyond Ridgeborne’s reasonable control.
Ridgeborne may contact the customer if additional information is required to process the order.
2. Shipping Availability
Ridgeborne ships to available destinations shown during checkout.
Shipping availability may vary depending on destination, product type, carrier service, customs restrictions, local delivery conditions, or other logistical limitations.
If Ridgeborne is unable to ship an order to the provided destination, the order may be cancelled and refunded in accordance with applicable policies and laws.
3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates
Available shipping methods, estimated delivery times, and shipping costs may be displayed at checkout where applicable.
Delivery estimates are provided for reference only and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date unless expressly stated. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, customs processing, local delivery conditions, weather, holidays, public events, incorrect address information, or other factors outside Ridgeborne’s control.
Ridgeborne will make reasonable efforts to process and ship orders within the stated or estimated timeframe.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be calculated and displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.
Shipping costs may vary based on destination, shipping method, product weight, package size, order value, promotional offers, or carrier rates.
Shipping charges are generally non-refundable once an order has been shipped, unless otherwise required by law or unless the shipping issue is caused by Ridgeborne’s error.
5. Order Confirmation and Tracking
After an order is placed, customers may receive an order confirmation.
Once the order has been shipped, tracking information may be provided where available. Tracking updates are supplied by the shipping carrier or logistics provider and may take time to appear after the package has been dispatched.
Ridgeborne is not responsible for delays or inaccuracies in carrier tracking systems, but will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with shipping-related inquiries.
6. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping information at the time of purchase.
This may include recipient name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state or province, postal code, country or region, phone number, and any other information required for successful delivery.
Ridgeborne is not responsible for failed delivery, delayed delivery, lost packages, return shipping costs, or additional fees caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable address information provided by the customer.
If a customer notices an address error after placing an order, the customer should contact Ridgeborne as soon as possible. Address changes may not be possible after the order has been processed or shipped.
7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For international orders, the customer may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, local taxes, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country or region.
These charges are not controlled by Ridgeborne and may vary depending on local laws, customs regulations, product classification, declared value, and delivery destination.
Customers are responsible for complying with local import requirements and for paying any applicable customs or tax-related charges, unless otherwise stated during checkout or required by law.
Ridgeborne is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, customs clearance procedures, unpaid customs fees, or local import restrictions.

Circumstances beyond Ridgeborne’s reasonable control
If a shipment is significantly delayed, customers may contact Ridgeborne through the contact methods available on the website. Ridgeborne will review the order status and provide reasonable assistance where possible.
9. Lost, Missing, or Stolen Packages
If tracking shows that a package is delayed, lost, missing, or delivered but not received, the customer should contact Ridgeborne as soon as possible.
Ridgeborne may assist by reviewing tracking information, contacting the carrier where possible, requesting an investigation, or advising the customer on next steps.
If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should check the delivery address, mailbox, reception area, parcel locker, building management office, neighbors, household members, or other secure delivery locations.
Ridgeborne will handle lost, missing, or stolen package claims according to the circumstances, carrier investigation results, order records, and applicable law.
10. Damaged Packages
Customers should inspect the package and product promptly after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, the customer should contact Ridgeborne as soon as possible and provide order information, photos of the package, photos of the damaged item, and any other relevant details.
Ridgeborne will review the case and may offer a replacement, refund, repair guidance, carrier claim assistance, or another reasonable solution depending on the nature of the damage and applicable policy.
Damage caused after delivery, improper handling, misuse, unauthorized repair, or normal wear and tear is not considered shipping damage.
11. Refused, Unclaimed, or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is refused, unclaimed, returned to sender, or undeliverable due to incorrect address information, failed delivery attempts, unpaid customs fees, refusal to pay import charges, or customer refusal, Ridgeborne may deduct related shipping costs, return fees, customs fees, carrier charges, handling fees, or other costs from any applicable refund, unless prohibited by law.
If a package is returned to Ridgeborne or a fulfillment facility, Ridgeborne may offer reshipment, refund, store credit, or another reasonable solution depending on the circumstances. Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.
12. Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately depending on product availability, warehouse location, fulfillment process, package size, or logistical requirements.
If an order is shipped in multiple packages, the customer may receive separate tracking information for each package where available.
13. Pre-Orders and Backorders
If a product is sold as a pre-order or becomes temporarily unavailable after purchase, shipping may take longer than standard processing times.
Ridgeborne will make reasonable efforts to provide updated information regarding expected shipment timing. If Ridgeborne is unable to ship an order within the stated or reasonable timeframe, Ridgeborne may offer the customer the option to wait, modify the order, cancel the order, or receive a refund, as required by applicable law.
14. Shipping Restrictions
Certain products may be subject to shipping restrictions based on destination, carrier rules, customs regulations, product classification, or local laws.
Ridgeborne reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or modify shipment arrangements where shipping is unavailable, restricted, unlawful, commercially unreasonable, or not supported by available logistics services.
If an order cannot be shipped due to shipping restrictions, Ridgeborne may cancel the order and issue a refund according to applicable policies and laws.
15. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate shipping information
-
Monitoring tracking updates where available
-
Receiving the package in accordance with carrier requirements
-
Responding to carrier delivery notices where applicable
-
Paying applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees where required
-
Contacting Ridgeborne promptly if a shipping issue occurs
Failure to provide accurate information or respond to delivery requirements may result in delay, failed delivery, return to sender, additional charges, or cancellation.
16. No Guaranteed Delivery Date
Unless expressly stated otherwise, estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.
Ridgeborne is not liable for losses, inconvenience, missed events, or additional costs caused by carrier delays, customs delays, incorrect address information, weather disruptions, public holidays, or other events outside Ridgeborne’s reasonable control.
This does not limit any non-waivable rights customers may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
17. Legal Rights
This Shipping Policy does not limit any rights customers may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Where applicable law provides customers with shipping, delivery, cancellation, or refund rights that are different from or more favorable than this policy, Ridgeborne will comply with such legal requirements.
18. Updates to This Shipping Policy
Ridgeborne may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes in logistics operations, carrier services, delivery procedures, legal requirements, or business practices.
The updated Shipping Policy will be posted on the Ridgeborne website. The version of the policy in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that order, unless otherwise required by law.
